Slight correction - Ford is endorsed by gun safety groups but hasn't specifically pledged to pass the polling station gun ban (hasn't said either way). It's likely to land on his desk soon anyway

Banning guns near polling places is a proposal that was vetoed under the Republican governor in Nevada. Ford has pledged to pass it. It is wild to me that carrying a gun near a polling station could be a thing that doesn't already lead to immediate arrest.
