Another thing on this: I can assure you that folks will cite high Black turnout this midterm as evidence that the Roberts’ Court in Shelby County, Rucho, Callais, etc has been justified in weakening the VRA. But people outworking discriminatory law/jurisprudence is not justice or good policy.

Yep. I've voted for absolute jackasses before and then yelled at them constantly b/c the alternative was Satan. But you have to commit to actually yelling at the jackasses constantly. They are not your friends; they are the enemies you have chosen because they're easier to fight than Satan himself.
