It's not easy when you are a stay-at- home parent. Years ago, just before Xmas my daughter came home from kindergarten and I asked if she wanted to watch a video but she said - OH Mom I'm videoed out from school. Now there are even more screens to deal with.

We have a zero screen policy for our kid. It's hard. It's tempting to let a screen be a soother or babysitter. It's challenging when all his friends have screen access. But he's better for it.
