I understand that too. The IRS has been understaffed for so long that audits weren't done as much as ppl think. I did taxes for 40 years and have never had one person get audited. Now they lost another 7k. I'm gonna take my chances.

thank John. I'm going to claim 5. That'll do for me. I don't. know how much is going to get done by the IRS anymore. They have fired so many ppl. It was around 7k workers.
