    (despite it being the gimmick I think the animation might be the weakest aspect of Cel Damage lol, they just did such a great job with the character design and art direction that it compensates)

    I was actually thinking of Motor Toon Grand Prix on the PS1, but Cel Damage is a great shout! I think they did a good job making a good racer and nailing the character designs but Motor Toon really leveraged that vertex animation to make the squash and stretch work.
