    a commentator at all. the perspective of someone from the audience can be constructive too. i think people should be less afraid to just talk to others, after all we're all volunteers and the titles and power we hold in "competitive splatoon" are entirely worthless lol

    similarly to competing, i feel that simply commentating more has diminishing returns. of course you rehearse more by scrimming more frequently, but the other side of the same coin is vod review. without analyzing the things you're doing, you could be honing in the wrong skills

    and just like scrimming, an outside perspective to analyze your play is really helpful. there's things you may not recognize by reviewing yourself. i feel that asking others for input every 5 casts would be pretty beneficial. that doesn't have to be from the best commentators out there, or even
