    A pleasant ‘seawatch’ at Grain this am with Little Gulls, nearly a 1000 Co Scoter, plenty of Kitts and a few distant Arctic Skuas. News of an Issy Wheatear at Dunge saw me trying my luck, arriving on site at 1330. The bird had vanished but eventually was relocated and I set a reasonable pace to it🤣

    After a good few years my Fishbone Cactus (Disocactus anguliger) has finally opened a strongly scented flower this evening. It really is a peculiar fragance, more reminiscent of some synthetic detergent than something from the natural world. Not entirely unpleasant, but very weird.
