    Yea no, they absolutely wanted "Mando" to be a bigger hit than it was, same was Amazon is NOT in fact "okay" with MOTU losing them an actual fortune so long as it was streamed a lot on Prime. You always want to make MORE money, and the noteworthy thing is the studios not saying so...

    ...i.e. that means they're still committed to the IP, the producer teams, etc. That's still a markedly different situation from (likely) breaking even on a $30M October drop. The problem WB/DC has is the new bosses aren't going to let them protect Reeves much longer, I don't think.

    (It's looked clear to me they've been holding back on their Batman stuff to let Reeves' finish "Part II" unobstructed, but if it keeps getting pushed there's only so much else they can do before Skydance starts yelling at them to make ONE other "big" IP other than Superman 🤷‍♂️)
