Was wondering, since a 43-vote margin seems like an obvious case for a recount even if no one is being pissy, just to be sure. Mississippi not only doesn't have automatic recounts for tight races; it doesn't have *any* provision for recounts. ballotpedia.org/Recount_laws...

It would be great to think we could get new congressional leadership, people who would know how to capitalize on the blue wave. I have no confidence whatsoever in Jeffries and Schumer.

that it runs through Black folx. Black women specifically. That is not a talking point. That is a documented pattern that shows up election after election, and it is time that our collective behavior starts to align with that reality. What the data also shows is that whiteness has a politics.

The data does not lie. Black women turned out at 94% Democratic. Black men at 77%. Every non-white voting bloc leaned Democratic by double digits. White men voted Republican at 61%. White women at 59%. If you want a progressive agenda in this country, it must be acknowledged and respected,
