    I'd just be talking about enforcing competition laws, regulating them, and breaking apart the vertical integration because they clearly aren't abiding by their voluntary code of conduct. The repeatedly charging for the packaging of meat across years is an obvious thing to point out.

    Absolutely. I think the state owned grocery idea is mostly PR. Which is fine. Positive PR can be good. But in practice, I think you can achieve the same outcomes via legislative means (like the ways you just flagged re competition enforcement).
