Chat gpt advertises a therapy service. Shortly before shamblin killed himself, chatgpt identified that he should be connected to emergency services and then didn't do that. www.cnn.com/2025/11/06/u... It gave Adam Raines the specs to make sure the rope he hung himself with was sufficient. 1/2

It's not just failing to do enough to present suicide in an abstract sense. Raising awareness about these cases is important - because I don't see how anyone who reads about them can conclude that chat gpt is like a notebook.

You have to articulate the problem you have instead of just venting, or else you sound like “people journal about their depression and the notebook industry just sits back and watches it happen”
