    .. as the Alzheimer’s took him.. incomprehensible scribbles . But I think it gave him a bit of dignity and solidity to know that he always had a pen at the ready. When I buried him .. hidden in his inside pocket of the suit .. was the fancy blue pen.

    … he was charmed by the story that this pen could write over 7km without needing an ink refill. And so he purloined it and on subsequent visits said it was his pen. And as he was declining it was such a comfort to him to have a pen on his breast pocket of his shirt to use for notes .. or later…

    I like the Pilot G-2 a lot. It's the best feeling gel pen I've tried. It bleeds through the paper a little, so maybe not the best for annotating a book. So much better than the Sharpie gel pens, which are garbage.
