In any case, something I keep telling folks on the func_godot discord when the topic comes up is that we control our controllables. You can't help that Unity ingested radium, or that among Blender's 1000+ contributors more than a handful have brain rot. You *can* help what *you* do though.

All that is to say, don't kill yourself over others infecting your tool chains with AI, but also don't contribute to the problem yourself; you can reject tainted non-essentials and refuse direct use. Control your controllables.

Perhaps the most common refrain I hear from all devs that use AI is, "I only use it for X" and "without it I wouldn't have Y" and it always ends up sounding hollow and seeking permission, attempting nuance and differentiation. The simple truth is you used it when you weren't forced to.
