My dad new Stewart and had nothing but good things to say about the guy. The day I met him was just a regular workday for Stewart. I'm sure he forgot it the instant it happened, but it was pretty damn cool and he didn't have to take time out to shake a starstruck kid's hand

Apparently, the shoes were uncomfortable and if their feet weren't in shots, the actors wouldn't wear them. Anyway. That day I met Michael Dorn and Patrick Stewart. Both of them were in character though, so it's more like I've met Worf and Picard

I met Patrick Stewart once. Kind of. My dad did a lot of the still photography for Star Trek TNG and DS9. One time, he brought me onto the set. I got to watch a little bit of the filming and one of my enduring memories is Wil Wheaton in full costume except for a pair of black high-tops
