and once you've transferred, your personal blocklists, etc., remain the same, but you're now benefiting from Blacksky's own moderation, meaning, for example, some creeps who Bluesky won't ban would be banned and would not appear if you searched for them, right? and you wouldn't appear for them?

i'm not bailing on bluesky by any means. but i'm keeping my eyes on the exit strategies, as i do with every social media site. god help us all as we help each other and ourselves.

i too would love for there to be many options of bluesky servers besides this bluesky social media app. but i don't think that's coming any time soon. so it's a horrible shame that bluesky admins don't really seem to want to sustain the actual users they have here with the moderation we deserve.

what @rude1.blacksky.team and team are doing with Blacksky seems nothing short of herculean and miraculous. just incredible. but bluesky seems to expect there to be HUNDREDS of such heroes building their own instances. and i just don't see that happening.
