Which means the concern in every case will not be coming from love, as love is directly incompatible with hatred and abuse. It will be coming from a need to control your kid regardless of their interests or intent.

    there might be some smaller group aside from them who's just worried about what other people who hate gay or trans people might do to their kids if they had those identities, but once again if that was genuine, I don't think the solution they'd go for would be conversion therapy or "repress it...

    The thing is "loving concern" over a kid coming out as trans or gay is genuinely impossible. Even if I accept for the sake of argument that it *might* exist, the vast majority of people concerned about how their kids identify are concerned because they hate trans and/or gay people....
