    Yes: It's very important to remember that ao3 passwords were stolen in the attack. No one send your ao3 emails to the shady people trying to capitalize from this when your password has been stolen!

    They are asking you to email them to prove your personal email is associated with your username and possibly leaked password from ao3 so they can use that info to try to access other accounts associated with your email. It's 100% a scam designed to get people to offer them their data.

    The site apparently was made on nov 1st, so after the ao3 shutdown. I dont fault anyone for messaging them as they request on their fuckass site, but please be careful in sharing things with them, including your ao3 email. This is just a warning that these are very likely scamers wanting more data

    They have NO WAY to confirm "proof of ownership" unless they have breached the site. This is either fake removal or a (further) breach attempt. Absolutely DO NOT give them your AO3 email as "proof".
