    Funny how easily the zeitgeist shifts, everyone couldn't wait to shit all over those movies when they were current (for good reason, they sucked). I watched ep1 within the last 2ish years and its a maaajor slog. And the orig trig only holds up due to generational art direction.

    For me, as a point of comparison, matrix 2 and 3, which people also shat all over, I still really enjoy (less so 3 for sure) just because the action is so fun (and let's be honest, thats most of what's good with those movies). But SW prequels are just torture.
