Really looking forward to performing Marcel Dupré’s Deuxième Symphonie @stchadsbirm.bsky.social for the first time next month - it’s been a slow-cook 28-year project since I heard Thomas Trotter play it at @bmusicltd.bsky.social Birmingham Town Hall, and subsequently purchased the score in 1998!!
Voir le postReally looking forward to hearing Mélodie Michel in concert for the second time this week. Stunningly good playing. This time we’re at Victoria Hall Hanley, Stoke-on -Trent.
Voir le postReally looking forward to this, there are only a few instruments and settings where Olivier Latry’s music sits so perfectly. thursdaylive.org for details.
Voir le postI’m blushing! Thank you, AKMA!
Voir le postI’ve known Käthe Wright Kaufman for 25+ years, and I can testify that she is not only an extraordinary musician, she is also a true friend, *and* a devoted cat lover. (And we don't say that lightly, as we are guardians of two yappy dogs). (Not going to show photos from the 00s!) @kewk14.bsky.social
