    Cracking conditions for a safari cruise this morning! Highlights - 3 Common Scoter nr Arne Bay, 39 Spoonbill, 23 Knot, 260 Avocet, 70 Dunlin & 6 Mediterranean Gull on B'sea Lagoon, Bearded Tit Swineham Pt., 4 Marsh Harrier & a Red Kite, plus 2 Kingfisher on Poole Quay before departing.

    Well worth scrutinising any and all Rock/Water Pipits in the harbour. There are local colour-ringing schemes for both species led by Stour Ringing Group at Lytchett Bay, but you may just find a foreign-ringed bird like this FINNISH Rock Pipit (Scandinavian ssp. A. p. littoralis) at Kimmeridge!
