  The whole principle behind Shabana Mahmood's proposals is repellent. The idea that we value humans by their pay rate rather than its need for society. Why should a care worker wait longer for citizenship than a banker, or a nurse longer than an HR manager?

  Israel killed eight people including a child in Gaza this weekend as they continue their genocide. After a weekend of arresting pensioners for protesting against this horror, Labour has today collapsed local agreements putting Israel far above serving our local communities.

  You might look at this story & just think 'that's just what happens' but a government run for the benefit of corporations is oligarchy & we need to call it out. Until that changes we will continue to see decisions made for private profit rather than the pubilc good.
