    in general: people with RSD have it triggered even by perceived rejection, so i feel like here nova just took torchbearer's refusal to join him as rejection and pushed him away like "if you don't want to support me in my distrust for the world, you're not my friend and never were my friend"

    i think here tyler created an illustration to rejection sensitive dysphoria while not intending to do it like 1) nova/clancy was still actively doubting himself and other people around him, including torchbearer 2) nova/clancy was overly confident in himself and that's why he went up there alone
