In 2024, many analysts concluded opinions about trans policy and immigration (activated by ads) were the cause of Trump's success. I disagreed, arguing that the economy/inflation was the main cause. Today we have the same issue environment, with economic conditions pushing in a different direction.
Voir le postWe appear to have as large a proportion of ads about trans policy and race/immigration as we did in 2024. If those ads have a big effect, we should expect a similar outcome today. But if economic conditions are the primary driver of votes, we should expect a different outcome today than in 2024.

As a California, my observations are: -the state was already trending left -187 made it so a generation of Latinos wouldn’t vote for republicans
