If we were really serious about "digital sovereignty" we'd be talking about developing publicly owned software for critical systems like healthcare, not sinking billions into transnational corporations.

Mark Carney says he doesn’t use generative AI as much as he’d like, but that he’s brought in a Google executive to “transform government” and enable more AI use. Basically, the answer of someone completely bought in on the fantasy of AI who refuses to recognize that isn’t reflected in reality.
