    and it sucks, because there is no redeeming grace to surviving. you just wake up, fumble about, hurt sometimes, and if all goes well, rest. i don’t know who i am, or what i’m here for, but i can feel when a pocket of repressed emotion bubbles to the surface, and it aches. and that raw ache is me.

    it just feels like i should have drowned or found land by now. i’m losing patience for experiencing this kind of dull pain, for seeing myself in such a pathetic light. and yet i can’t just climb out of this ocean or somehow decide i don’t want to gasp for air. all i can do is wait for each breath.
