    YES! I am sooo hyper conscious of not judging parenting and the complexities that they face these days w/ tech etc but there is such a huge difference between a child being impatient or emotionally dysreg vesus being a straight up disrespectful bully and bulldozing through a store like you own it.

    My favorite compliment to get from strangers and my daughter’s teacher is how polite and kind she is. I know all children are different and i really try not to judge parents (moms specifically), but damn sometimes they need judgement for the way their children behave and how they just let it happen

    There’s a huge diff between age appropriate behavior & not noticing how your actions affect others even at a very basic level of decency towards people around you in public places. also ur 10 yo kid shouldn’t have their ipad glued to their face while walking around a store and run into people

    I’m not a parent (yet) but nobody around me was doing this kind of shit when we were in elem school idc what the excuse is. ofc kids can’t regulate their emotions as well as older teens (I am well versed in child psych), but I am not talking about toddlers. these were all roughly 10-16 yos

    I witnessed like at minimum 15 horrific things that me with adhd nor my l2 autistic sister ever came close to doing as child.. one of which was like a 5th-ish grade boy body slam his brother into the ground and make him cry and knock over like 20 apples laugh and walk away
