  The apparent lies and attempted cover ups of Musk operatives raiding US agencies, stealing Americans’ personal data, changing base code at Treasury, and more, indicates they know it’s a political liability. The public (and business community) really don’t like it. With reason. Keep shining a light.

  May be more accurate to say the Constitutional crisis already happened—the years democracy and rule of law were under attack, which much of the media downplayed and legal institutions failed to contain—and we’re now in the post-Constitution crisis. But “no Constitutional crisis” is definitely wrong.

  Corrupt, unethical, incompetent actions can serve an authoritarian project, explained Hannah Arendt, by prompting people of integrity to resign. That creates more openings for loyalists, which makes orgs worse, prompting remaining good people to leave. Hollowed out institutions easier to take over.
