  Lilo is one of my fav examples, because her sadness comes in the LACK of movement. when shes upset or angry, shes loud. When shes sad, shes shut off. She doesnt showcase sadness by allowing that to be the front and center emotion, she avoids it. that contrast is so important!

  In my mind I have so many ideas I want to do in powered investigations but never see the right moment to do them. If it were for me, I'd have plenty of filler chapters where the characters deal with deep shit, but that would mean making an arc too long
