    Obviously, this attraction presents an extreme level of danger to the people waiting to ride and those operating it. That is an extremely heavy roller coaster train moving extremely quickly mere feet in front of you! So there are light curtains scanning the entire station for intrustions.

    They're not easy to spot in the video, but it's clear from the angle and yellow line that the uploader's camera (probably on an extension) went past the light barrier which triggered an immediate ride stop. (not relevant but the "error" noise the ride makes is extremely good and I love it)

    The paradox here is that Six Flags (or whoever is operating one of these Intamin Impulse coasters) can't advertise that "hey, there's a light curtain" because pranksters would absolutely do stupid shit like throw something to stop the ride. So instead, stupid shit like this happens!

    The "are you kidding me, man?" sounds like it could have come from the ride op, and I think he could tell our friend here tripped the light curtain. But again, they can't exactly acknowledge that the light curtain exists without inviting more prankster behavior and thus downtime.

    Could be that came from someone else and nobody noticed the uploader filming, but regardless of the specifics I've always found it a bit funny that this attraction has a piece of safety equipment which has to be kept somewhat secret for the sake of continued operations!
