I have to say, that is kind of beautiful in its own way. It's an interesting and artistic photograph. Of course it would get old quickly to see dozens of these. But it's making the unseen, seen, to give us a glimpse of an aspect of reality we don't encounter directly.

Voir le postSo it is manipulated, but in the same way all astrophotography is. I don't imagine it's exaggerating the number of satellites seen in a couple hours. The stacking also "fans out" all the satellites that are on a polar orbit, all the ones that vanish at the same point were moving single file.
