    This is another reason why voter ID laws and single day voting are stupid. I don’t know what every county is doing yet, so we may know before the 10th if it’s too much for Hyde-Smith to close the gap. However, we may not.

    Many counties, like DeSoto, will not be counting affidavit ballots until those 5 days are up so that they are only left with counting the verified ballots. I imagine other counties will do the same.

    If you were purged off the rolls by mistake, and your data matches up, then the elections commission has to verify the ballot before it can be counted.
