  Lemme point out where I said "people shouldn't be shamed for thoughts, but those thoughts shouldn't be normalized". I have personal experience with ocd and going through therapy for the types of thoughts that made me shameful made me a lot happier.

  It is a mental illness and being accepting of it is bound to normalize the thoughts and then the behaviours. No people shouldn't be shamed for the mere thoughts, but that's also something that you should be seeking therapy for instead of openly embracing it as part of your identity.

  The issue with Lenin and stalin is they subjugated members of the working class. Marx wouldn’t have condoned that. He strictly advocated for unity of the working class against the ruling class. Lenin wasn’t a Marxist completely butchered the philosophy.
