  Anyway, there isn’t actually any legitimate reason to have what is effectively “culture beat” reporting on the contents of far-right and fascist participatory propaganda. Propaganda analysis and counter-messaging, sure; but that is not what anyone is out here doing.

  If a bunch of people are playing a game where they pretend to be media-illiterate in order to spread fascist ideas throughout society, and everyone writes up articles and shares their tweets laughing and/or admiring them pretending to be illiterate it helps spread fascist ideas throughout society.

  A reason the right keeps doing these participatory memes is that people write articles making a big deal about them doing it. It's fascist culture, which in the 21st century is participatory culture, and that vey much includes audience participation.
