    There was going to be some push toward a ROAD to Housing 2.0 in 2027 no matter what, but what that looks like is going to be very different with a 55-56 seat Senate Democratic caucus. I think some version of federal social housing and a major Section 8 expansion might be on the table now.

    They could run some service from broad street to points west and leverage the light rail from Penn to get people to broad. An agency this size should have a ready to go plan on how to do that

    the US currently has a tax free commuter benefits program where your employer can essentially give you an FSA card for transit fares. imo this is not very effective at inducing transit trips and it would be a lot better if we made transit fares tax deductible for _employers_ rather than employees
