    This is a non-intuitive thing about electric motors - they do more with the same input compared to motors that burn stuff to keep going, so they need less of an input.

    Most important thing for a household to do in terms of consumption is replace their key fossil burning machinery (car, furnace, water heater, range, dryer) with electric options when they can.

    Electric motors are so much more efficient that internal combustion engines that even on fossil fuel power they still cut emissions substantially. Run them on 100% renewable power & the impact is even greater. Switching to renewables saves money, improves health, environment & climate. 🧪💡🔌☀️💨💧🔋
