Finally got a sunny day where I could go up into the mountains before all the leaves were gone. #Photography #Landscape #Autumn #Fall

This time I went with proper contact cement. If I know I'm going to come back to a camera, I'll use the tape, but the glue is the way to go. With the new foam installed and the leatherette replaced it feels, looks, and smells so much better. I actually want to use it now.

The camera smelled of cigarette smoke pretty badly when I got it, so it was the right call to get rid of all of the old glue. A fair bit of scraping to get it off the leatherette, but it worked. When I originally reapplied the leatherette, I only used double sided tape, but it kept coming loose.

My fresh light seal foam finally came in, and I finished the roll of HP5 that was in my FE2, so I decided to do both the light seals and fix the leatherette. The leatherette on this side had a crease in it that I was able to use an iron with wet paper towel to hot press it out. #believeinfilm
