  No, there is not "insatiable demand for AI compute." 75% of AI compute is bought by Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, OpenAI or NVIDIA - the company selling the GPUs. If demand were real, NVIDIA wouldn't have to buy $5-6bn of AI compute every year for the next 3 years. www.wheresyoured.at/ai-mythbuste...

  Not in the vast majority of cases! The big labs don’t release the exact contents of their training data in terms of proportions but the amount of real (as opposed to synthetic, generated with simulated or in house lab users for a specific purpose) user interactions that end up in the set is low
