and acting like they Knew Something Was Up The Whole Time - then why didn't they deploy and attack with that oppo in the first place as hard as possible in the campaign. was a curse placed on them preventing them from doing so.

people go "oh hoh hoh hohhhh bernie and warren endorsed this piece of shit!!!" and it's like. yes. that is bad. i'm not sure why them making a bad move makes chuck schumer instead a genius of strategy when he ALSO endorsed platner and never came at him with half the fire he had for mamdani.

it is really something seeing people credit schumer with anything about maine or knowing "something was off" with platner when not only did he clear the field for mills, but also 1. her barely campaigning at all was "eh, that's fine" to him 2. the actual totenkopf was also "eh, that's fine" to him
