    And what I know - which isn't much - just comes from two acquaintances who both got spinal injuries in rta's & who are both now wheelchair users. One of them, who had been an NHS surgeon pre-car crash, gets bad nerve pain but still no lower body mobility. The other gets muscle cramps but no nerves.

    I was thinking this too. Also have no expertise. But I do know that, as spinal injuries go, this is indeed such early days. As I understand it (which is not much!) nerve pain can be good (sensation returning) or bad (damaged nerves, constant flaring pain, remaining paralysis). #TheArchers
