    If it were up to me, I'd also try adding some ambiguously flirty dialogue so players can have fun with them, like we already do with many lines! And maybe a few extra dialogue choices/differences here and there in the MSQ if you completed those. Like what already happens with a lot of other quests!

    Like, imagine that we're in the 4th, then at some point a quest unlocks with Y'shtola on the moon and you help her with something in parallel with the MSQ, learn more about her and what she's doing! Like the role quests, it could tie back to the MSQ. But you can also do them later/not at all.

    I don't imagine NPC dating being added to XIV, but I think it'd be awesome to have extra sidequests, maybe a role quest-like thing with more NPCs. There's so much about them that the MSQ can't explore. It would be nice to spend extra time with them and learn more of their personal troubles!
