    But I can't stay this way forever. It'll only get harder as I get older. So I hope to get back to weight lifting in the future because I really enjoyed it and I know I will never have some perfect body or whatever but I'm positive I can /feel/ a lot better than I do. I've tasted that success before.

    would actually help alleviate some of the health issues I experience. And it sucks because I know we all hate when doctors tell us to lose weight as though it's the solution to everything that ails us. I know that's not a universal truth.

    It hasn't been easy for me and only in the past...maybe 6 years have I been able to not actively antagonize myself about my body or allow other people's comments to harm me so fully. I would say, at present, I have a neutral relationship/view of my body but I cannot deny that losing some weight

    I wish I could join in on fat body positivity for myself but I accepted a long time ago that I am not "acceptably fat", especially not so for a woman. I love that other people love their bodies, I think they're beautiful, I love that so many others refuse to let fatphobia rule their lives---
