  Which is to say you can play for 5+ hours straight and run around lifting pillars and it never presents a challenge to Cal because that isn't a goal of the game type (action rpg). In a novel it prob wouldn't be expressed entirely the same way.

  Not universally, but we do consider form/function with storytelling elements in a video-game vs a novel. Force powers all have discrete names is very much a gameplay thing, for instance. It wouldn't make sense for the game to make Cal's consistent use of the Force taxing/diff all the time.
