and this isn't me doing "one is better"; i have many transmasc, agender etc headcanons. i just have noticed i get a lot of pushback when i draw "guys" as transfems. thankfully not as much on bsky but on twitter i was run off of an account for 100% believing goro akechi is a trans girl. lmao

and i hate people who hound you for proof and tell you why it has to make sense. i don't care. i'm not finding you the billy deadlock trans voice lines. i just caught a vibe and liked it. either you get the vision or you block me, the path forward is not hemming and hawing in my damn ass replies

like it's all cookies and cream to do genderbends but the second you make an anime dude into an anime *trans* girl... holy shit hit the fire alarm. fandoms have an overwhelming issue with transmisogny that they REFUSE to discuss and it truly sickens me that this is almost a near constant

replies i've gotten for drawing characters from stuff as trans women: - "this is my kin and seeing this makes me dysphoric and suicidal" - "you are disgusting for drawing this" - "this makes no sense" - "i have to unfollow because this makes me uncomfortable" like it's bewildering

i think it's fascinating that i can't draw characters from established things as transfems without people trying to convince me they're actually transmasc or cis. like all of those headcanons can coexist. it's a video game character. are you that threatened seeing your fave as a trans girl? 🙄
