It's fascinating how differently people interpret the same conversation. One hears criticism where another intended a suggestion. One sees rejection where another simply needed space. Our perspective isn't necessarily the whole picture. It's worth remembering that. 💫

If she starts as a patient, that information becomes totally confidential between her and the psychologist. If she doesn't book, I'll never talk to her again. And honestly, it can be really hard to let those glimpses go sometimes.

Maybe it's cringe to be proud of being good at reception and admin, but it's cool, I'm already cringe for lots of other reasons, so Ima be proud. I help people in a really tangible way every day I show up to work, and while I'm not saving lives, it does feel good.

I did get a new client enquiring at day job today tell me entirely unprompted that I was a really great receptionist and that my phone manner was really "warm", which is exactly what I go for at work. So that's really nice feedback.
