Yeah, I don't go looking for difficulty for it's own sake, but it's like "I guess the game forces you to consider and engage it's mechanics" which is yeah, that's what I want from the game???

agsskgdhsjs for real!! honestly tho, i generally don't even look for difficult games on purpose, i just pick up anything that looks interesting to me. but some of my favorite games ever happen to be viewed as unfairly difficult like rain world or silksong, and its part of what i love abt them

jokes aside i played the demo so ik what enemy they're talking abt and its such a non-issue. its a fun early threat to avoid until finding a ranged weapon to deal with it. they also complained abt no quicksaving, so you can guess why they dislike a game with heavy king's field vibes lol
