  Wait. Isn't the point of a debate PRECISELY to boost those ideas that rebut the original points? And I'd imagine that, as an assistant professor with a life outside academia, Heather may not have lots of time to debate via the socials and certainly shouldn't feel compelled if she'd rather not.
