I don’t think the pull is brief at all, it only seems that way bc of how close to the goal it was and the ball goes out of play behind the goal. He’s pulling him almost the entire time.

Those moments make him invaluable when you’re chasing the game and need to change the dynamic but maybe make consistent performance from the start trickier. He’s by no means a “problem” no matter what the media say.
