Coming in NOVEMBER! From @bigfinish.bsky.social Doctor Who - Running Wild - Genesis of the Doctor All stories have a beginning, but some are shrouded in myth and legend… What you need is a living witness. And a mind probe. My script included the words "DIVISION", "VORTEX" and "PAST."

I still maintain if the Timeless Child plot had just been the Fugitive Doctor, it would have been more readily received.

Sure. I disliked the Timeless Child retcon as well, although I enjoyed the Fugitive Doctor and thought she was a good addition. I also don’t think being just adopted makes the Doctor any more special than he already is.

The Fugitive Doctor: I take it you’re the Master? The Master: Oh my dear Doctor. The enemy you seek was right beside you the entire time. It’s strange that you didn’t recognize me. Even stranger you’ve been acting as though we’ve never met before. #doctorwhocircuitbreaker #toyphotography #toypic

McCoy's era was going to explore the Doctor's past and the Doctor being one of the Ancient founders of Gallifrey society. At the end of the day even after timeless child, the Doctor is still a mystery. Nothing has changed. Nothing for anyone to fret about.
