    Yeah, I heard that too. Such a pity. It has also been recognized by modern scientists that he & Paganini had the same medical condition where their limbs/fingers were longer than ‘normal’ people & that’s why they could play the way they did. Being able to reach the strings differently that others.

    The legend that he made a pact with the devil just bc he got so good after practicing (in a cemetery cause it was quiet) for a couple of years (if I remember correctly) with a great black guitarist (I forgot his name 🥲) makes me both mad & chuckle. The way he died too was messed up, poisoned.
