There are good reasons why EDI strategies & programmes combine diversity with equality (or in some nations equity) and inclusion rather than separating diversity out to celebrate. Grappling effectively with Cofnas’ meretricious claims about race demands more than support for diversity and pluralism.

It was directed at the bairn who had toppled onto her back. I don't think she'd ever use the -it form for the participle. I imagine 'cowpit yowe' is a fossilised phrase.

Fun thing that I had to look up as a fellow Scandinavian is that the name is ”Håland”, but uses the older spelling, which didn't have the letter "Å". So the AA is a sound that is similar to aw in English “crawl”. Or correct me if I got this wrong!
